Generally Chromebooks aren't used for anything but google apps and software, follow this tutorial and download a more interesting Ubuntu system on your Chromebook.
Enable Developer mode by holding Esc + Refresh + Tap the off button
On the Missing or damaged screen alert screen press Ctrl + d (THIS WILL ERASE all data don't worry though as most everything is saved in cloud)
Wait for the download to process then set up your chromebook again
Download Crouton: Download The link is at the top of the page
Open Terminal (Chroot) Ctrl + Alt + t (Press enter after each command)
Type this command: shell
Then in the shell type: sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton -t xfce If on a Chromebook pixel you may need to type: sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton -t touch,xfce
This process may take 10 - 15 min. and will eventually ask for a username and password For the username put in anything you want. For password put in anything (Note the password wont appear its there though)
After Crouton is installed type sudo startxfce4 (in shell)
Linux should start!
Better browser in Linux
Go to Terminal in Ubuntu (the terminal icon on the taskbar) Run this (Each line is new command):
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox
sudo apt-get install default-jre
If it asks for your password, use your regular Chromebook account password
Open firefox (by clicking browse the web in taskbar)

Minecraft in Linux
MUST have firefox and Linux - Duh
Go to minecraft.net and install minecraft for linux (must have the game bought)
Go to downloads folder (Home app on screen + downloads)
Right click on minecraft.jar and go to properties
Get to the permissions tab and check the check box: "enable executable as program"
If its not there open terminal
Type chmod +x ~/Downloads/minecraft.jar
When enter is pressed nothing will happen this is normal and means it worked!
